Memorial in the forests near Zbylitowska Góra, southern Poland
remembering the around 10,000 victims that had been executed and burried in mass graves at this spot by the German occupants during WWII. Many children were among the victims.

Dunajec riverbed
Over time the Dunajec is changing its riverbed. Each storm the river eats some of its embankment, slowly moving into the farmland.

One of a pair of metal elements mounted infront of a wall. Probably a corner protection located at a former driveway, a so called metal guard stone. Different from other metal guard stones, the top of the element is vaulted inwards.

Art Center Mościce (CSM) and Arena Jaskółka Tarnów (TOSiR).
CSM: Built in 1971 in a futuristic style as a house of culture of the local chemistry plant (Dom Kultury Zakładów Azotowych). Refurbished 2008-2011, and today used for cultural purposes like exhibitions.
TOSiR: Next to it there is the stadion Arena Jaskółka Tarnów, also built in a Sci-Fi-style.

Corner House with fast food restaurant
in Tarnów, ul. Bema/Świętego Ducha, sketched May 5, 2021.
In February 2024 I passed by this place and realised, that the fast food restaurant I sketched here was closed down and all signs were removed. So this sketch is now not only a sketch but also a historic documentation.

Out of order PKP train station building TARNÓW-MOŚCICE.
When the railway station building was erected in glas and steel in the 70ies it was one of Polands most modern buildings. Today the train station is still operating but the building is closed and abandoned, still transfering us in the atmosphere of gone times.
