MAGIC SQUARE
Sketch, dealing with a magic square summing up columns, lines and other symetric combinations to the number 34.

This combination of numbers is taken from the magic square shown on the famous engraving Melencolia I, done by Albrecht Dürer in 1514. Dürer did some coding in his magic square, something that inspiired me to also incorporate one hidden coding!

Refugee Boats
When reading the news, in all the tragedy connected with the refugee situation, it somehow came to my attention, that many of the wooden refugee boats are decorated in an amazing way. This I felt I had to catch in my sketchbook.

All Saint’ Day in Poland
You remember the dead, and when it gets dark all cementries are an ocean of lights. I like that this day here in Poland still is something special, and is not spoiled by the commercial Halloween-circus.
